It’s been awhile since I cycle early in the morning, so me being jobless and weather being great I get to spend my early morning cycling to Hattoriryokuchi Koen. Some sakura (cherry blossom) are not yet in full bloom but some are already so nice to look.
Here are more picture as I cycled around the park.

“Opaw(Baldy)” informed that our work was until yesterday. I thought that it was only about the project, and not the company. I even asked on my daily report what the next assignment would be.
This morning as I was preparing for another boring day, one of the project leaders approached me and ask if we did not hear any new information from the company, and I answered No, nothing. He then explained that our last day was yesterday, March 31,2008.
Usually, if our contract is not going to be renewed we are informed one month before not on the day itself. It was frustrating to learn it this way. At least they have the decency to tell us personally, or inform us properly that they don’t need us, not even a single email. It really made me so furious .. grrrr..

It’s my favorite time of the year again. Here’s the Cherry Blossom ( Sakura ) forecast for year 2008 courtesy of Japan-guide.com
Rain, wind and temperatures can have a strong effect on the process of the season, for example, they can delay or shorten it considerably. Therefore, use the forecasts on your own risk.

煩い 【うるさい】 (adj) (1) noisy; loud; (2) fussy; (3) annoying; troublesome; tiresome; importunate; (4) bossy; (P); EP
sometimes when i’m working, i unconciously start humming my favorite tune and this old-ugly guy in front of me suddenly blurted out “urusai”. The first time i heard him say it, I did not notice it but today I looked up when he said it and he was looking at me.. so i guess he was irritated by my humming .. darn this guy is probably living a very disappointing life he can’t understand why i need to hum

I finally fixed my pc last night, it loads faster now and partitioned it properly for system and data. Back online now..
Taking a leave of absence today even though my PL did not answer my email yesterday as always, but woke up feeling terribly sick ( like vomiting ) so decided to really get this day off and go to sensei and take it easy in preparation for the busy weekend

I promised not write from office since transferring to this current client of ours, unfortunately last tuesday my PC decided to go on strike. I tried to clean my HD and remove all those unnecessary softwares and files but I think I also removed a necessary one >_<, there were errorrs generated ** in japanese ** but decided to ignore it *_*. I tried also installing NOD32 and while it was installing I was also running the NOD32 worm detector, and it said I have a Win32.trojan on my PC, so I was really counting on NOD32 to remove it completely, but then my explorer crashed and the installation hanged. When I restarted it, there were no explorer , just my desktop and the arrow but nothing to clicked on, I can’t even open the desktop setting/property window and the HD was no longer processing.. Oh no, started to get cold with fear
Restarting it for a couple more times, gave the same result.. Now I’m really nervous, goodness what will happen to all my data ( thankfully I’ve already save all my 2007 pictures to a dvd ), then i remembered safe mode. I still could access my data so I went to sleep worrying. No good it did, finally woke up around 5am and started tinkering with my PC on safe-mode, hoping the my writed will work, and it did @_@. The reliable “safe-mode”, thank goodness.. was able to retrieve and save all my data.. whewwww .. But I was so sleepy the whole day and still worried …
Tried installing last night, but with a headache and painful back ( no amount of stretching could lessen the pain this time ), I could not successfully format the drive, just reinstalling the OS but producing the same problem and it was all in Japanese. With my back shouting of pain, I gave up and rested unfortunately I could not find a sleeping position that is comfortable enough for my back.. so again I’m sleep deprived. Asking my leader now to get an rest tomorrow, I really need to visit sensei again and fix my PC too
hopefully he will said yes..

Media have been buzzing lately about those poor people who were food poison by eating gyoza ( dumplings ) imported from China. This is really scary since I love to buy and eat gyoza. Until this issue is resolved be really careful on the frozen foods you buy or food for that matter.
More details here.

It’s a week of doing absolutely nothing. Initial plan for my winter vacation was to visit Kyuushuu or Tokyo, unfortunately my body wanted me to take a rest. By time I came back from Tokyo last christmas, I started to be sleep deprived. My sinusitis seems to be getting worse. Blood seems to be coming out whenever I sneezed and then I could no longer sleep properly cause I can’t breath. Breathing itself is already painful that sometimes without noticing it I’m already breathing through my mouth. Because I could no longer sleep properly, my cough slowly gotten worst. With fever, cough and sinusitis I decided to cancel all plan trips :(. After our Rise party at Lisa’s place and my new Year at the H Family, I stayed home with the exception of laundry all I did was watch video if I’m not sleeping that is. Lots of liquid and more sleeps. I decided to stop my medicine, since I already finished a tab of my cough medicine and it does not even got better. Just let my body slowly take a time to rebuild itself.. I guess I just overworked it :). It was rejuvenating week. Now i’m starting to get bored, this might be a sign that I’m really better , ready to face another year of adventure
