Getting fit

May 8th, 2008 ideru

I’ve been trying to get rid of those extra flabs around the waist and tone the rest of my muscles as well. Going to the gym and looking for the best fitness equipment is one option. But with my back problem, I could not just use any fitness equipment, I need to consult an instructor first.

Another consideration of going to the gym is of course the reliability of their fitness equipment. Most of us just take it for granted, but it is important to know if we can trust the equipment we are using and not go berserk in the middle of the workout, don’t you think so? Of course if our part, we need also to check everything before doing our workout.

We want to look good, right? while going to the gym helps, lets not also forget that we need to have a proper diet also or everything will just go down the drain.
So what are you waiting for, let’s get physical….

Fixed

February 8th, 2008 ideru

I finally fixed my pc last night, it loads faster now and partitioned it properly for system and data. Back online now..

Taking a leave of absence today even though my PL did not answer my email yesterday as always, but woke up feeling terribly sick ( like vomiting ) so decided to really get this day off and go to sensei and take it easy in preparation for the busy weekend :D

On Strike

February 7th, 2008 ideru

I promised not write from office since transferring to this current client of ours, unfortunately last tuesday my PC decided to go on strike. I tried to clean my HD and remove all those unnecessary softwares and files  but I think I also removed a necessary one >_<, there were errorrs generated ** in japanese ** but decided to ignore it *_*.  I tried also installing NOD32 and while it was installing I was also running the NOD32 worm detector, and it said I have a Win32.trojan on my PC, so I was really counting on NOD32 to remove it completely, but then my explorer crashed and the installation hanged. When I restarted it, there were no explorer , just my desktop and the arrow but nothing to clicked on, I can’t even open the desktop setting/property window and the HD was no longer processing.. Oh no,  started to get cold with fear :(

Restarting it for a couple more times, gave the same result.. Now I’m really nervous, goodness what will happen to all my data ( thankfully I’ve already save all my 2007 pictures to a dvd ), then i remembered safe mode.  I still could access my data so I went to sleep worrying. No good it did, finally woke up around 5am and started tinkering with my PC on safe-mode, hoping the my  writed will work, and it did @_@. The reliable “safe-mode”, thank goodness.. was able to retrieve and save all my data.. whewwww .. But I was so sleepy the whole day and still worried …

Tried installing last night, but with a headache and painful back ( no amount of stretching could lessen the pain this time ), I could not successfully format the drive, just reinstalling the OS but producing the same problem and it was all in Japanese. With my back shouting of pain, I gave up and rested unfortunately I could not find a sleeping position that is comfortable enough for my back.. so again I’m sleep deprived. Asking my leader now to get an rest tomorrow, I really need to visit sensei again and fix my PC too  :D hopefully he will said yes..

Scary food

February 1st, 2008 ideru

Media have been buzzing lately about those poor people who were food poison by eating gyoza ( dumplings ) imported from China. This is really scary since I love to buy and eat gyoza. Until this issue is resolved be really careful on the frozen foods you buy or food for that matter.

Competition for vacuum cleaners here in Japan is stiff, but when I saw Dyson vacuum cleaner I got immediately looked. It was automatically my choice for a vacuum cleaner. Browsing at the official website, found out not one but four upright models: the original design, the telescope reach, the dyson

It’s not just a list of accessories, but precisely explained on the purpose of each part with picture so as customer you already know what you are getting even before the item arrives. So if you are seriously looking for a vacuum cleaner that really cleans,be sure to get Dyson I know I will.

Because you Care

January 9th, 2008 ideru

I’ve got sunshine on a cloudy day” .. the first thing that popped out of my mind when I heard about bettercaring. We don’t stay young forever and one of the fears that we encounter is “what will happen to me when I grow old?” . Maybe we have a family to care of us but sometimes we really need the help of some professionals. When I get old, I don’t want to cause any trouble to my family, I want them to have a life of their and its good know that there is a nursing home that we can trust.

For most Pinoy putting your family member in a nursing home is frowned upon. Culture and religion dictates that direct family members should be the ones to care of your old family member and yes I do agree with that, there is no better love than a real family but sometimes a good advice from professional nursing home is needed and who am I to refuse that privilege to the one I love, isn’t it a sign of showing we care? For the people we care, it’s fortunate to know that there is a nursing home that we can trust.

A Relaxing Week ??

January 6th, 2008 ideru

It’s a week of doing absolutely nothing. Initial plan for my winter vacation was to visit Kyuushuu or Tokyo, unfortunately my body wanted me to take a rest. By time I came back from Tokyo last christmas, I started to be sleep deprived. My sinusitis seems to be getting worse. Blood seems to be coming out whenever I sneezed and then I could no longer sleep properly cause I can’t breath. Breathing itself is already painful that sometimes without noticing it I’m already breathing through my mouth. Because I could no longer sleep properly, my cough slowly gotten worst. With fever, cough and sinusitis I decided to cancel all plan trips :(. After our Rise party at Lisa’s place and my new Year at the H Family, I stayed home with the exception of laundry all I did was watch video if I’m not sleeping that is. Lots of liquid and more sleeps. I decided to stop my medicine, since I already finished a tab of my cough medicine and it does not even got better. Just let my body slowly take a time to rebuild itself.. I guess I just overworked it :). It was rejuvenating week. Now i’m starting to get bored, this might be a sign that I’m really better , ready to face another year of adventure :D

Quis .. Quis

N told me about this Hair Treatment. Actually this is for those who have their hair colored but if it works for them why not for normal hair right.  The package cost 263 yen and is applied once a week. There are different varieties to choose from. The pic above is a treatment for people with red hair color. I like this one, it contains Henna and really softens my hair.  I was using this one till I found the “Black Crow: Cassis” still with Henna. Even though its hair colored treatment, it does not change the color of your hair, or so im told but im not taking any chance so that’s why Im using the “black crow” :D.  I like the effect, especially on the scalp. With winter coming up, my scalp really dries up and it flakes ..ewww..

How to Use: Shampoo hair and then towel dry. Apply and wait for 5 minutes. Rinse.

A Sickly Week

July 16th, 2007 ideru

Monday

Wake up with a splitting headache、the right side of my head that is. Ignore it and went to work as usual but instead of glasses I put on my contacts. On the train, my right eye started to get red. I thought it was just a normal reaction as always. When I reached the office it got a little better, sleeping on the train helped a little.

After our morning meeting, my eyes got redder so I remove the contacts and put some eyedrops but it just got redder and redder. “Nanay” noticed it when he went to our area and suggested I should go home. Lunchtime I was on my way home, I did not realize how weak I was till I was walking to the station. I think that was probably one of the worst walk of my life. I had no glasses or contacts, and my eyes seems to swollen and popping out that everything was just so blurry. Thank God I made it home safely.  When my fever was finally out, the redness in my eyes were finally gone.

Tuesday

I woke up so weak and decided to take the rest of the day off.

Wednesday

Went back to work but still feeling so week.  Around noon, my back started to ache.

Thursday

My back was on its mood again, so I decided to contact my therapist ( she just had a surgery so she can’t do an spinal alignment ) to recommend me to another therapist. She asked me give her a visit in the clinic and check my back . She did and alignment with just one hand.

Friday

The alignment worked!!!!  My back was feeling OK again.

have to get ready for the upcoming tenjin event :D
