Near
yup that is how I can best describe work now. its the nearest client by far in all my years here in Japan. its more or less 10 minutes if I walk and 5 minutes by bicycle. cool huh? . Not only that, work start at 9:30. what a bless , more time to sleep and no pressure of waking up early to catch a crowded train. And i don’t need to prepare any packed lunch as i can go home for lunch. and the office is cool too. there is music.. yup MUSIC .. some days the music is boring but some days its all from my favorite anime theme song.
the people are also nice. although they are very quite
they are all nice and very young. except for us 3 girls and the other 3 leader, age bracket is from 23-27 years old.
had our welcome party last friday and probably one of the funniest welcome party ive attended so far. our leader with an afro hair and a bicycle mania, is actually funny and romantic. shiera and i were tongue-tied when he said that , ” don’t worry you will find your “The ONE” ” and “Yeah I love my wife, she makes me lunch every day and I know its hard” and then he proudly showed us his wedding ring .
then there are 2 of them who have lived and study in the U.S. for more than 6 years, yeah at least we have a savior/translator in times of trouble
as far as this past 2 weeks is concern, it’s a pretty nice atmosphere so far. work is not that hectic yet, but i need to double my efforts since Im not that familiar with Java and i have completely forgotten sql . ![]()
