Isabel Allende.

I must admit, it was a little bit boring in the beginning but as you go on further, you will appreciate the richness of details. A great journey indeed ..

think it will be one of the mushy books..but since theres some historical background on it,might also give it a shot. Im currently reading paolinis eldest book.
