Chikuwa

Chikuwa(竹輪)is a Japanese tube-like food product made from ingredients like fish surimi, salt, sugar, starch and egg white. It is cheap and relatively low-fat source of protein.

Y had made this simple meal last saturday and i really like it. It was just chikuwa and asparagus. Simple and yet very healthy.

ingredient(s): chikuwa and asparagus boil them or just the asparagus then stuff the asparagus into the hollow of the chikuwa and thats it.

I was actually boiling some chicken at that time, so i just boil the chikuwa and the asparagus in the chicken soup to give it more taste.
