I am addicted. I could not stop watching it or rather listening to it. I have never written anything about J Drama or K-drama for that matter in this little blog of mine. This is the first and will probably be the only one.

Nodame is the name of female protagonist which is actually the combination of Noda Megume. An extremely talented pianist but wants to become a kindergaten teacher. She is free-filthy-spirit lass. She does not like people pressuring her because it was what society demands of her. Despite being “Garbage Woman” is extremely honest, sweet and very supportive to all her friends.

Chiaki is the male protagonist. Very arrogant and yet very talented in Piano, violin and Conducting.

With Destiny’s help, they met and turn out to be next door neighbors. Together they were able to face their fears and aim higher.

But what really made me watch this over and over again is the music. I love the part where Nodame and Chiaki played together. Playing Mozart’s Sonata and Rachimaninoff’s Piano Concerto No.2. I love it when S Orchestra played Beethoven’s Symphony No.7 in Chiaki’s first and last conducting in Japan. I love the Chiaki’s piano concerto playing Rachimaninoff. I love oboe concerto… so ok I love all the performances

This drama was actually supported and performed by the Tokyo Metropolitan Orchestra. They formed a special group just for this drama and called it “Nodame’s Orchestra”. They a have performance this coming December 18 to 28 at the Le Theatre Ginza… I so love to go and watch …:D
