Cancelled, resched .. basta lakwatsa

It really irritates me when people cancelled out on me, especially those abrupt ones. I don’t mind if its a week before or a few days before like maybe 3-5 days, cause I could make another arrangement or schedule for my day and not waste any of my time.

The plans for this weekends where all cancelled, one because of health reason and the other one because of a more pressing matter. The saturday plan was my most anticipated of all, but unfortunately one has to take the doctor’s advice. The sunday plan was actually bound to be cancelled, and that can be resched anytime.

What was the plan?

Saturday - biking in Shiga Omi Hachiman. I found the information on Kansai’s International Outdoor Club, but unfortunately, it was too late cause it was already over. Luckily, Lisa, the current president was very kind to help me out and provide all the necessary information.  What can I say,  I love biking.  The last time I was biking, I was halfway to Minoo and just a few minutes to Senri Chuo :D .

Sunday - my cooking class day. yup finally, I found a very good cooking school. Both viand, baking cake and bread are available. I only took the bread baking course for now, I did have a very great deal. Good timing actually, they were offering the school fee almost 50% than the actual fee.  So now, all I need is an oven :D

New plan:

Saturday - After hearing my back problem, Naoko suggested we go to an Onsen for which I gladly agree. I suggested Kinosaki or Awaji Island. Well, we have not decided yet still, Naoko will be doing all the driving so .. but there is always badminton and biking if all plans are cancelled . :D

Sunday - Concert in Suita :D a much better plan of course :D

  1. Grabe.. hectic galore and sked nimo del. =)

That’s so right. I hate last minute cancellations especially on the stuff I really look forward to. But before I am guilty of cancelling plans at the last minute (yep, I was that fickle-minded.. way klaro). I have tried my best to change that attitude already. Cancelling at a moment’s notice means you don’t respect the other person’s time. But with your cancelled plans, it seems that there were circumstances beyond your control. That is a different story. You can’t do anything about it.

Well, I am glad you had a back-up plan for your weekend. Sounds like you are having fun there!

  2. hi lory.. thanks for dropping by. Yeah its something I can’t control so we’ll just have to resched if ever. Yes, its really disrespecting other people’s time. Of course I am not saying I don’t cancel, but only when I can’t really control the situation :D Unfortunately, my Sat plan to go Onsen was cancelled, my friend is sick so I can’t impose on her to drive. Yes am having a great time here, but still missing pinas/home. hey palaaga nya ko sa imong manila ha :D
