coffee.. tea or me..

a few weeks ago, my colleague/friends and I were invited by our manager to a dinner party and since everybody was present, we decided after the dinner to for a cup of coffee and have a chat until wee hours in the morning just like we usually do back home. and so to starbucks we go, but to our surprise it was already closed and it was only 10pm. So we went to umeda in search for another coffee shop ( preferrably starbucks ). When we arrived at hankyu international hotel lobby, starbucks outlet, the staff announced that they are already closing and everybody is requested to leave. we were like “huh!? ok” , so again we search.. this time we arrived at Hep5 starbucks outlet, my friend went alone to confirm the time while we waited outside, it was no good they are closing in the next 5 minutes… finally we decided to check out the starbucks outlet at the back of hilton hotel, and we were in luck, it closes at 12midnight, so we decided to park there and have our fave cup of coffee.

it took us about an hour to search for a place to have our coffee.. unlike in the philippines, coffee shops like starbuck ,bo’s ( this is my fave one ) closes wee hours in the morning. why we do this? like hang out in this coffee shops so late, this is a way to vent out our frustration, talk about anything and everything under the moon :D , meet long lost friends, watch ppl laugh and talk .. and of course enjoy our favorite capucinno, espresso and etc…

this is just one of the many things i miss at home, having a cup of coffee together with your closest friends :D

want some coffee?
